Welcome to Oz

Oz's little site for virtual worlds. Theres no real theme or anything to this, just random stuff from different virtual worlds I hang around in, some more than others.

Added the updated versions of the lsl.properties and lsl.api for SciTE-ez I did in Downloads. These have updated defintions to preview version 1.9.1.21 of SL and some other changes.

Added SL Map, my modification/additions to the SL Map API. This will be an ongoing thing, so expect changes, additions, and my messing arounds with things. Thusfar it has the following features: The ability to create a link to a location with a short description shown on the map, a Map History to show you where you've clicked/double-clicked, a back and forward button to "browse" through the history (and your own "trail"), and some other minor things. I've still got more things in mind, they might not really be useful, but I want to add them anyway. :P

Added blog link. Updated css to look better with Firefox 1.5, I actualy like it better this way, and originaly mean't to have these things, but didn't really do them, this gave me the chance for a refresh. If you notice any issues on Firefox or IE, let me know. There are some warnings on the validator from w3.org, but honestly I think the warnings are a bit nutty, if I put a background-color on everything, then if I want to change something, I have to change *all* those backgrounds, which makes the whole point of having CSS futile. As it currently is, I can change the background of #main and it'll change every other thingy, but if I declair the background of each one, the links, the tr, the hr, then I have to go through and change all those as well. Also removing the bottom of #main border shouldn't be an issue. So I think they're getting a bit nuts with their warnings.

Updated Projects. Updated and added information to comparison chart and comparison details, I now have listed Free Accounts available, as well as Other Pricing comparisons, and I updated some other information. If you spot anything I have wrong, feel free to email me.

Added Times page, displays current (at page load) times for both ActiveWorlds (VRT) and Second Life and There (PST/PDT). Also added email to contacts page.

I've converted the website to php enabled, with that and the changes I've made it will allow me to update stuff like the main template, or the menu, without changing every single page at a time, which can be annoying and time consuming. If you run into any trouble, or any pages that are still pointing to ".html" or any lost pages, please notify me. You shouldn't notice any differences, so if you do notice anything quirky, again, let me know. The changes I made should all be back-end kinda stuff that the front user won't see. I may also play around with php and do some other stuff, but I dunno. If you need to access a page and it does't work on the new updated php, I have kept the old html pages here.

Added a downloads page, only thing on there right now is a colors.ini modification I did for Second Life, turns your GUI transparent. Added Age Limit and Support to Comparison Chart/Details and updated some of the info on the details page. Updated and added links to the Links page. Fixed Random links (none worked, I forgot the files), well really I only fixed the Hippo Flash link since I deleted the other files (really don't need them anymore, but if you want them for some reason let me know).

Updated website so it works at multiple resolutions and not just mine (oops, sorry about that). If you have any issues let me know. Also as a result some of the pages look a bit different. Also switched to new host, yay!

Theres the "new" comparison page, its actualy pretty old. Just thought I'd do the news thingy. Updated the transparency issue for the comparison chart for IE.

I finaly got this all validated, my CSS is validated and I converted this website to XHTML and had it validated. IE was the bitchiest browser to get to work with everything, so I must say, I despise it. So IE = teh suxx0rz, if you're using it, get a real browser.

Updating a bit, fixing some of the CSS and trying to deal with how each browser handles things differently. There are subtle differences between how Firefox and IE (two browsers I tested this with) handled CSS, if you look close enough you can notice the differences, but mainly its all the same.
